The Virtual Trip Ltd Network-Centric Software Group (NSG) is active in the domain of Complex, Network-Centric, Large Scale Information Systems.

The OTE value-added service, named ConnX-View and provided by NSG as a turn-key solution, provides: i) remote surveillance services via either GPRS- and 3G-mobile phones or regular PCs connected to the internet. The service features motion-detection, video/images event logging, SMS/email alerts and remote camera management. ii) a unified environment for managing, editing and publishing real-time multimedia user-generated content, including video streams, audio streams and prerecorded multimedia files using a thematic community portal. The service utilizes Flash video and 3GPP standards to enable universal access and features mechanisms for advanced search, meta-tagging, content rating, commenting and discussing about uploaded content, and provides notification tools via either SMS or email.

The TIM value-added service, provided by NSG as a turn-key solution, is a mobile video blogging application which allows arbitrary user groups to publish and share real-time, user-generated video content, captured via mobile video cameras. Mobile Video Blogging users can upload their video files either through sending a simple MMS message, or through a specially designed WAP interface using their mobile phone, or even through any PC connected to the Internet. The service comes with tools for searching, meta-tagging, content rating, commenting and discussing about uploaded content, while notification tools via WAP-Push SMS both for one-to-one fashion or using “friends-list” feature are also provided. Mobile Video Blogging application may be used by any mobile phone supporting the popular 3GPP standard.
